Bad Guy Mystery Perk Planner

A buy order you can follow with the shop open and a lobby countdown in the corner.

Perk Planner

Use this planner when Candy is burning a hole in the shop and a crate preview is louder than your last loss. The three perks still last about five seconds. Ranks match the perk tier list. Role context matches the Roles Hub.

If you own nothing

Buy Peekaboo. Stop. Close the crate UI. Play five rounds where your only extra goal is to click invisibility at the right time. This line is the planner. Everything below is a fork.

If you mainly draw Good Guy

  1. Peekaboo — fade while you turn, not while you stand.
  2. Sugar Rush — leave packed doorways.
  3. Snitch — only after the first two, and only if you like scouting for a Protector you trust.

Deep hide habits: survive as Good Guy.

If you mainly draw Protector

  1. Peekaboo — vanish after a missed reveal.
  2. Snitch — pulse the room you heard a slap in.
  3. Sugar Rush — if you already reposition well without it.

Deep shot habits: play Protector.

If you mainly draw Bad Guy

  1. Peekaboo — survive the gun coming out.
  2. Snitch — find last campers and the Protector hug.
  3. Sugar Rush — second approach after a whiff, not a substitute for spacing.

Deep throw habits: win as Bad Guy.

If you draw all three evenly

Stay on Peekaboo until it is automatic, then buy the second perk for the role you enjoy, not the role you wish the shop would sell you. A “Bad Guy chance” claim is not a perk and is not in this planner.

What not to buy with this Candy

  • A crate before Peekaboo. See items.
  • Dual Wield because it looks like a perk. See gamepasses.
  • Double Candy because you are impatient after two rounds. Earn a week of sessions first; the candy guide is the grind math.
  • A script that says it is a better Snitch. See the Scripts Hub.

Bind check

A planned perk you cannot click is a wasted plan. Confirm the button on the controls page, then run the round checklist once with the shop closed. If the countdown hits zero while you are still comparing Duck skins, you used the planner wrong.

When a fourth perk ships, the changelog gets a date and this page gets a fourth heading. Until then, three tools, one first purchase, fewer crates.

Worked examples

You have enough Candy for one perk and you died as Good Guy in a doorway: Peekaboo, then the survival guide doorway paragraph. You have two perks and you keep missing Protector shots: do not buy Snitch to “see better” until you can hold fire on a sprint; reread protect. You have Double Candy and still no Peekaboo: the pass is working, the plan is not. Close the crate, buy invisibility, run the round checklist.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

What should I buy with my first Candy pile?

Peekaboo, regardless of the role you hope to draw.

I main Bad Guy. Skip Peekaboo?

No. The gun still ends you. Invisibility is your panic button.

Is Snitch ever first?

Only if you already own Peekaboo and you live in hunter rounds. Even then it is a second buy.

Does Double Candy change this order?

It only speeds the pile. The order stays Peekaboo, then role perk, then crates.

I already own all three perks. What now?

Stop planning. Open crates for fun or save Candy. The planner has no fourth row until the changelog says a new perk exists.

Should siblings share one perk plan?

Yes for the first buy: Peekaboo on every account. Second buys can split if one child mains Protector and the other mains Bad Guy.
