Perk Tier List

Bad Guy Mystery sells three perks that all last about five seconds: Peekaboo (invisibility), Sugar Rush (speed), and Snitch (wall vision). That is the entire active perk shop as of the current live build. This tier list ranks them by how often they save a 15-player round, not by how flashy the particles look next to a unicorn lobby.

S-tier: Peekaboo

Peekaboo is the first Candy purchase for almost every account. Good Guys break a chase by turning a corner as they fade. Protectors vanish after a missed reveal so the Bad Guy cannot finish the gun holder. Bad Guys disappear when the Protector finally raises the weapon. Five seconds is short, which is why you pre-aim the bind on the controls page.

Do not pop Peekaboo in a flat lane as a joke. The invisibility does not help if the hunter already knows the only doorway you can take. Combine it with a jump or a ninety-degree break. The Good Guy and Bad Guy guides both assume you own this perk by week two.

A-tier: Sugar Rush

Speed is honest. It wins wide chases and loses tight rooms where a throw already wanted a gap. Buy Sugar Rush second if you already click Peekaboo without thinking. Protectors use it to create a new angle after a miss. Bad Guys use it to close after a whiff. Good Guys use it to leave a packed doorway. It is worse than invisibility when the hunter is already on your floor and the only exit is watched.

If you main mobile and your thumb cannot hit two perk buttons, skip Sugar Rush until Peekaboo is muscle memory.

B-tier: Snitch

Wall vision for five seconds is a hunter toy. It is excellent when you are the Bad Guy looking for the last campers or the Protector hugging a prop. It is decent when you are the Protector and you heard a slap but cannot see the thrower. It is the weakest Good Guy buy because information without a gun still gets you slapped if you peek the wall highlight like a tourist.

Snitch is not ESP from a loader. It is a short, legal pulse. Players who want permanent outlines are looking at the scripts hub, which is a risk page, not a shop page.

What is not a perk

Dual Wield and Double Candy are gamepasses. They do not sit on this list. A crate skin is not a perk. A “Bad Guy chance” shop claim is not a perk. If a thumbnail shows four mystery abilities, it is mixing games. The items page keeps cosmetics in their lane.

How to practice a rank

Buy Peekaboo. Play five rounds where your only goal is to click it at the right time. Do not open crates in that session. If you never clicked the perk, you did not buy a perk; you bought a badge. Then add the second row from the table. The round checklist includes a perk-ready line for a reason.

Ranks will move if dyingblu changes durations or adds a fourth tool. Until a changelog row says otherwise, Peekaboo stays S-tier and your first Candy pile has a home.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

What is the best perk in Bad Guy Mystery?

Peekaboo. Invisibility saves more rounds than speed or a short wall pulse.

Is Snitch good for Good Guys?

It is the last buy. Seeing through a wall does not help if you still have no gun.

How long do perks last?

About five seconds each. That is why the bind has to be instant.

Do perks work on mobile?

Yes. Place the button where your thumb already rests or you will waste the window.
