Bad Guy Mystery Tier Lists
Perk ranks first. Weapon cosmetics second. Robux passes last.
A tier list for Bad Guy Mystery has to separate things that change a round from things that change a screenshot. Perks change a round. Most weapons do not. Gamepasses sit in a third bucket: they cost Robux and they still do not fix a point-blank whiff. This hub is the index so you open the right ranking instead of a generic “S-tier knives” graphic copied from Murder Mystery 2.
Read perks before cosmetics
The perk tier list ranks Peekaboo, Sugar Rush, and Snitch for Good Guy, Protector, and Bad Guy. Those three shop items last five seconds each and they are the only active tools you can buy with Candy that alter movement or information. If you only click one page in this category, click that one, then spend with the perk planner.
The weapon tier list ranks Stick, Brick, Egg, Duck, Pillow, Teddy, Fire Extinguisher, Bread, Party Popper, Water Pistol, and the Godly Nerf Gun as cosmetics with a note on throw feel. A Godly label does not move a Protector shot into a Good Guy’s head for you.
How these ranks were built
Ranks come from how the live loop plays: 15-player servers, no bodies, slap audio, and throws that fail in a hug. They do not come from MM2 value lists. Seer, chroma, and godly trading culture belong to Nikilis’s game. Here, Candy and crates are a collection hobby. The items page is the catalog; the weapon list is the opinion.
If dyingblu adds a fourth perk or a new gun type, the changelog will flag it and these ranks will move. Until then, treat any “secret S-tier perk” thumbnail as fiction.
What we refuse to rank
We do not rank scripts. A silent-aim loader is not a skill tier. The scripts hub is a feature-and-risk page, not a PvP ladder. We do not rank “Bad Guy chance” shop claims until they can be measured. We do not rank maps by name when public notes do not publish a stable map roster.
How to use a rank without becoming a tourist
Pick the role you actually draw. A Good Guy who buys Snitch because it is flashy still dies in a doorway pack. A Bad Guy who buys a Duck skin and ignores spacing still whiffs. Read the matching guide after the rank: survive, protect, win as Bad Guy.
Then play three rounds with one perk bind and no crate key. If your deaths did not change, the rank was not the problem. The round checklist will be.
Codes, if they ever grant a free crate, still should not skip Peekaboo. The Codes Hub and candy guide keep that order honest.
Use this hub as a table of contents, not as a personality test. S-tier is the perk you will click when the slap is on your floor.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
What is the best thing to buy first?
Peekaboo. It is S-tier on the perk list for almost every role.
Is the Nerf Gun actually better?
It is a rare cosmetic gun. Shot discipline still decides Protector rounds.
Do these tiers copy Murder Mystery 2?
No. They are written for Candy, perks, and throwable spacing in this place.
Will the lists change after updates?
Yes. The changelog notes new shop items, then the perk or weapon page moves.
